I have an early Penzel Mueller A clarinet that I am playing with a Gigliotti P34 mouthpiece and an R-13 66 mm barrel.
The lower and middle registers mostly play in tune with this setup. However, once I reach High C, it becomes extremely sharp. Is there a good fix for this? Maybe a different barrel?

Not that I necessarily have a solution, but is the R-13 barrel a vintage - mid-1900s original equipment - specimen (their bores were originally not tapered) or one with a "Moennig" reverse-tapered bore? The reverse taper was meant, among other things, to correct the sharpness on and . Also, R13 barrels are designated as either A or Bb clarinet. Are you using an A barrel?
Out of curiosity, since I haven't bought or even handled a new Buffet clarinet in decades, do the R13 barrels now come with reverse-tapered bores, or do you still have to buy after-market barrels?
