"Brahmsian" clarinet sonatas by Camillo Schumann
Author: Axel

German composer Camillo Schumann (1872-1946) has written two clarinet sonatas and a serenade for clarinet and piano. His works were probably anachronistic in his time. But today - to my opinion - they are pleasant for listener and player.

Here a movement of his 2nd sonata

and here a video about a recent published CD with all his clarinet pieces:

Both sonatas are published by Breitkopf and Haertel:

What do you think about his clarinet music?
