If it's hard rubber, it's actually a decent blank. I can't say the facing will be any good though, as nearly all stock mouthpieces of any brand are poorly faced (in my opinion).

ithanks dave its actually an eb mpc for 19.95 brand new old stock. its tempting but i have some really good eb mpcs now . had the effers out today for the first time in a long time. i have a very good bundy- a robert france-not bad but intonation is a challange . throat tones very sharp. and a old hard rubber conn that barely gets to a440
