 Buffet Elite series II or later version?

Hello to everyone
Recently I came across a Buffet Elite which looks different from the original depliant and the first series
It does not have the raised lower tonehole, the lower joint is longer and with an additional resonance hole and also an additional mechanism
Maybe you know when Buffet introduced this change and why?
This version has the same sound of the previous?
If it is some latest change may be an improvement or maybe not...
Please let me know about the story... Thanks!
