Today I picked up a Selmer 9 Full Boehm in an opp shop for $A30. It's been well used and I suspect its been stored for several decades, but it's all there. The keywork came off easily. The plating has seen better days, I may get it replated. The leather pads are shot and the joint corks look a bit second hand, but the wood is superb unstained grenadilla and the toneholes are clean and sharp. Serial is V 39xx. It may not suit me, but I know somebody who has been lusting after one for ages.

Total score -- well done!
Not quite at your level, but I found a pristine hardcover copy of The New Harvard Dictionary of Music for CDN $4.00 at a local thrift store a few weeks ago. Huzzah!
