 Hello,

I have found a Bundy Eb Alto that is being sold for what I think is a very nice price, less than $100. The seller says that only one cork is needed to be replaced. Is this a good deal?

Yes, but only if it plays. The only tenon cork on the instrument is at the bottom of the lower joint. It should still play without the bell attached so you could probably test it out in its current condition. Does it come with a mouthpiece? If so get some reeds and try it out.

You can use alto sax reeds on alto clarinet - they're readily available and the choice is endless, whereas the choice of alto clarinet specific reeds is very limited.

Likewise with bass clarinet, but with tenor sax reeds.
