 personal music library/collection organization

I am discovering that I have accumulated enough music that I now have trouble sometimes finding a particular piece or book and would welcome any ideas on how to organize not only sheet music but books. Many thanks!

If you search for"library organization" you'll find a couple of old threads with some good ideas.
