I have a vintage Leblanc professional Eb clarinet that is desperate need of an overhaul (keys re-plated, new pads, springs, corks, etc), but I do not know where to take it. I live in the Eastern New Mexico area (Portales/Clovis), so the closest I could take it would be somewhere like Albuquerque, or somewhere in Texas like Lubbock, Dallas, etc. I would prefer to not ship my instrument to be fixed, but rather take it to the repair shop myself. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,

I would guess that the original poster is able to access the internet, seeing that there are postings here!

I would suggest you search John Butler Instrument Restoration

Just an idea.

I am bringing John my Tosca b flat clarinet for adjustments, and a nice Selmer Series 10 for a complete restoration tomorrow. He is a terrific repairman of the highest professional level, reasonably priced and fast! I recommend him to all of my students and professional colleagues. He also does excellent work on flutes and saxophones.
