So I have purchased an E11 clarinet, it came with a 5RV mouthpiece and a rovner ligature which I was quite excited about I've played it continuously/ hours a day for about a month now and had been using a tuner on my phone -which I wasn't too sure I should trust as something always just sounded "off" about my low notes. I finally purchased a tuner today and to my disgust but not surprise my lower register is EXTREMELY sharp. Low E is almost off the tuner sharp, as as I work my way up it slowly getS better, becoming on pitch at about throat tone E. Upper register is fine, other than infamous minor pitchiness that is resolved through practice/ embouchure etc.. So any help with this would be greatly appreciated.. I'm wondering if its the mouthpiece, as I'm used to playing on a B45 and im not crazy about the 5RV (looking into getting a BD5 in the near future) Thanks!

Judging from the date of your post, I wonder if you washed the clarinet in very hot water, and it shrunk.
Seriously, I can't think of any reason why the very low notes should be so sharp.

It maybe more helpful to know the EXACT sharpness the notes you're talking about.

I had the same problem and took it to my expert tech who looked at the bell flair with his naked eye and said to my amazement that it was out around. He put a piece of sand paper on a large mandrel that he uses to take remove dents from saxophones and after a couple of turns the problem was solved.
