I need a cap for my mouthpiece that will fit the Daniel Bonade ligature. On woodwind/brasswind's website, they specify a difference between the Eb regular cap and the Eb inverted cap. for the Bb cap they only have one specified as 'regular'. I have the 'inverted' ligature for my Bb but they dont seem to have the Bb inverted cap. I wouldn't imagine they would be any different...my teacher plays the same ligature and it looks like his would work with either the regular lig or the inverted one, but for the Eb it specifies which one is which. Anybody know if i could just buy the regular cap and have it work with the inverted ligature?

The Bb inverted cap will fit better the regular. You might find it elsewhere online. They do look nice but are quite loud when dropped in the middle of a concert. A better choice would be a plastic cap like the clear Luyben.

Weinermusic.com now carries matching caps for all of the Bonade ligatures both regular and inverted. They're listed on pg. 46 of their print catalog.

Does anyone know a good plastic cap to fit the regular bonade? Sorry to reopen an old thread, but I don't have any caps that will fit it right now.

I really like the Rico caps, although I only have the inverted version. The inverted version fits the inverted Bonade, so it might be a safe assumption that the regular Rico cap fits the regular Bonade.
