 Anyone recognise this bass clarinet?

I am currently studying nineteenth-century bassoon-form bass clarinets, especially those from North Italy, and came across this website by chance:

I don't recognise the one labelled 'Catterini 1830' (nor for that matter the Pauer 1875), despite having searched extensively through offline and online museum catalogues, and building a list of over 60 bassoon-form bass clarinets. Does anyone have any information on these two, especially the alleged Catterini? It is not the well-known instrument in the Oxford Bate collection. I don't think it can both be Catterini and as early as 1830, but I need to track it down.

The web site above was discussed a few years ago on the bulletin board by Tony Pay and others, and was reported to be an archive of a defunct French web site. If anyone has a lead on the author, that might be helpful.

I will be grateful for any information.

Keith -

Look in Al Rice's book on low clarinets. Easier still, ask about this design on the Yahoo Early Clarinet board, which Al monitors.

I don't think he knows this one. It is not in his book (I do know all those), and we were talking about Catterini clarinets when we had lunch a couple of weeks ago. Good idea to post on the Early Clarinet board, though.
