I'm looking for help/suggestions on a Bass Clarinet Mouthpiece. My mid range written first space F to Bb...the throat tones) tends to be a little sharp and I've read that a small chamber mouthpiece would assist. But all the information I've read about online seems to talk about the tip opening, not the chamber itself. What mouthpieces can you suggest for Bass Clarinet that have a smaller chamber? Thanks for the assist!

If your neck has an adjustment slide, this may be all you need.
For me, Walter Grabner makes the best bass mouthpieces http://www.clarinetxpress.com/bass.html. I suggest that you get in touch with him to discuss which model will work best on your bass.

Another vote for Walter Grabner here. His mouthpieces are fantastic. I own .... four?.......seven. And I would feel fine performing on any of them.

If you can't afford the high priced ones try a J. & D. Hite or even a Yamaha 4C...but I'm no expert on the subject.
