 Khachaturian Trio

I'm a college student, and I'm involved in a piano-violin-clarinet trio that's performing the Khachaturian Trio this semester.
Quick question: The tempo marking at the top of my music says quarter note=104, and I hear most recordings take it half that fast. Simple mistake or is this Khachaturian's original tempo marking?

Yes, it's a misprint, take it about half the written tempo. ESP http://eddiesclarinet.com
