Hi there people,
1. What is the best edition of the Francaix to buy?
2. Where from?
3. For future reference, what are the best editions to buy for other pieces?
Thank you
N

1. I think theres only one edition of the francaix...
this is the concerto right?
edition transatlantiques
or something like that
2. No idea...music123?
3. depends on the piece...lots of pieces only have one...I like the barenreiter for anything where theres a choice, but only because I think they are beautiful editions and usually don't have too much editorial interference. I think they are genuinely quite accurate
but I don't think you can generalise about editions across the massive spectrum of classical music

I think Schott publishes a lot of Francaix's music (eg: wind/tring octet)
