Could someone please give me the measure numbers to the excerpts provided in Peter Hadcock's The Working Clarinetist (or perhaps access to a score?)

"The Working Clarinetist" excerpts for Polovetsian Dances does not give the actual measure numbers from the score. It only gives measure numbers of each individual excerpt - all starting on measure 1.

 FWIW,

The full clarinet part is included in Vol. V of the Orchestra Musician's CD ROM Library -- about $20 and widely available.

 Best regards,
 jnk

Nice to see the "old" spelling as opposed to Polovtsian which I see mostly these days.

And would that be for 'Clarionet' as well, and with the tails always on the right of minims, reversed quaver rests and those curly bass clefs?

I always hear it being called 'Polotsvian' as opposed to 'Polovtsian' by certain radio presenters (the same ones that say 'Tann-how-zer' instead of 'Tann-hoy-zer' among the plethora of words they mispronounce).

But does anyone have the working clarinetist and access to an actual part where they could look up the mesure numbers of the excerpts?

The 6/8 one ('Dance of the Polovtsian Maidens') begins at bar 4 of that movement.

In the next movement ('Polovtsian Dances') the clarinet solo begins at 16 bars before figure C (2 bars after the key change at the Allegro vivo). Then dovetails with the oboe in the 11th bar after J, and again in the 13th bar after Q
