i have and about 40 year old pruefer Bb clarinet.

my simple question is how much is to re haul a clarinet?

You mean an 'overhaul' - the price depends on who you take it to and what they do.

But in a full overhaul you should expect to have your clarinet back looking and playing like new as it's a complete strip down and rebuild, replacing everything that can be replaced.

If you want the best job done, you ought to take it to a reputable tech who will also guarantee their work.
