I've been playing my high school's Buffet 1183 wooden bass clarinet, and using the stock mouthpiece that comes with it. During a youth symphony rehersal, my conductor suggested getting the mouthpiece 'worked on' because it would make me sound better. At first I was skeptical, but after playing my teacher's mouthpiece, (a C* that he did something to) it felt a lot better. From where could I get my hands on a mouthpiece like this?

I think your teacher is the best person to help you find a good mouthpiece for you.
