Here is a review of a Mozart Concerto I did recently.
http://www.classicalsource.com/db_control/db_concert_review.php?id=3316
think that's the link, if it fails just type classicalsource and then click concert reviews
It would also be interesting if other members had reviews they'd like to share

Congratulations on a wonderful review, Peter. The next time I am in London, I shall try to catch a performance of your group.

Was this a modern-instruments or period-instruments performance? Basset or non-basset?
I am interested by the comment in the review "and decorated the line freely". I played a lot of renaissance and baroque music in my younger days, so am quite used to the idea of not playing what's written. Playing Mozart (which I do very badly, I hasten to add) I'm rather scared to add more than the very occasional ornament. I'd like to know more about how you went about this: discussion, PDF of the music, audio clips would all be of great interest.
-----------
If there are so many people on this board unwilling or unable to have a civil and balanced discussion about important issues, then I shan't bother to post here any more.
To the great relief of many of you, no doubt.

heh heh heh
how's this? (only one sentence)
"Nicholls proved himself a skilled composer with fine musical ideas as well as a talented clarinetist" (The Clarinet, March 2006)
.... seriously, this reviewer was TOO KIND, i really played pretty badly (for those of you who remember me from my "US period" my technique is much more reliable these days).
Really much more impressive is the half page devoted to Michael Norsworthy (who regularly posts here). I've only heard him play once (with Eric Mandat in 2000) but was pretty darn impressed.
good one Mr Cigleris, why not put forward a proposal for Clarinetfest 2007 so more of us can hear you?

Donald, I would love to play at clarinetfest, how would I go about making a proposal, how would I need to speak to? Perhaps you could contact me off board?

That is me Ken next to the cellist, lucky we all had to wear all black as I had to go and play in a pit band later that evening. Really wouldn't have been happy if i'd had to carry lots of clothes around London.
There is also a picture I believe of me and my amazing second Jordi on the site, this was taken when we did a concert at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
