Hey guys, I currently own a Vandoren leather lig, and is thinking of owning a Eddie Daniels II Rovner lig. What is the difference between these two?

I would say don't waste your money, they are very similair. The vandoren is more a adjustable, the material is slightly different, but they are both hybrids with plates. But if you want to try one out. I just cant see how it would be worth it.

A ligature is a total waste of money, it won't make any real difference in your playing. Take the money put it toward an ATG reed system. And focus on things that will improve your playing. If you already have an ATG buy the "legacy of Ralph McClane". In the CD booklet it's obvious that he has a "minimalist" ligature. It could even be Pre Bonade.
