Our school is planning on putting on "Into the Woods" for our musical. Our set is being "imported" from a professional Los Angeles show. Anything cool for clarinet or for the PIT in general?

I played the clarinet book first on Broadway in 1987. It requires an A & Bb clarinet. It was specially written for me by the great orchestrator, Jon Tunick. It is one of Steve Sondheim's greatest Broadway shows, so you should really enjoy yourself with the wonderful writing for the clarinet.
If you're interested, pick up the recording we did with the original Broadway cast. It will give you a good idea of what to expect, and get your ear in tune with Sondheim's unique harmonies.
Good luck,
