 Jean Laserre clarinet

Hello,

I have my great repairman down to the house about once a month to check over my instruments and repair my friend's instruments too. I mentioned this to my neighbor who said "I'd love to have my old clarinet repaired that has been in my attic for years". So, he brought it over the other day and it is a Jean Laserre. I've never heard of this, nor of that name. Do any of you have any information? It appears to be very nice wood, with tarnished nickel silver keys and I would guess that it is in the 50-70 year old range. There is no suction, so I'll let you know how it plays after my friend repairs it, if anyone is interested. Thanks in advance, it would be nice to tell my neighbor what he has.

the clarinet is made in italy......not sure if they're still made but they are pretty good. I had one and sold it before overhaul. The wood and keywork were excellent and I assume once in playing condition would be a nice clarinet.
