Just wondering if anyone else who plays this also has (or has had) the problem of the leaking air while playing. The beak of the mouthpiece seems to slope very sharply (more than any of my OTHER mouthpieces) and the air just seems to rush all over the place (yes, it goes through the instrument enough to play, but at times really hisses out the corners of my mouth as well)
If this is more "normal" for a gigliotti mouthpiece compared to others? (for those out there who play Gigliotti's or have tried them in comparison with others)
And also, is there a way I should try to fix it (ultra thick mouthpiece patch), or is it simply because my embouchure is used to the shape of other mouthpieces and would need to be trained to the shape of this one?

Suggestion......take a very soft reed say #1 1/2...practice a bit and try to get rid of air leak.... if you can do it...then graduate to #2 etc. Let me know what happens. John
