Anyone looking for a solemn, dramatic piece for clarinet solo to play for a Lenten service might consider my "Crucifixus." I first played it at my church on Good Friday many years ago. It has been requested every year since and seems to be a moving experience for the listeners. Duration is ca. 6'00". Range is from low E to altissimo G.
