 13 key boxwood clarinet from 1820s

My boxwood clarinet does not bear a makers name and dates from around 1820 as by that time it was common for clarinets to have 12 or 13 keys. By 1850 or so Boehm system keywork had been introduced.

The brass saltspoon keys are rivet sprung and the tenon rings are also brass.

The clarinet measures 580mm from top of the barrel to bottom of the bell – 10mm shorter than my Bb clarinet.

It is completely free of cracks, splits, repair or warping and in need of a repad.
