While Conn is better known for vintage saxes than clarinets, their top of the line, large bore, 444N clarinet was played by Artie Shaw, and is still sought after by trad jazz afficionados, and Klezmer players. This clarinet, made in 1946, is in PERFECT condition. It was restored last year by a top tech in South Florida. All new pads, cork pads upper joint, metal tenon cap upper joint, mechanism is perfectly adjusted. The clarinet plays in tune with a very big sound. There are no cracks, key work plating 100%, horn is clean. The asking price is pretty much what I paid to have the clarinet overhauled. It comes with a Morgan Jazz mouthpiece (not shown) which is essentially new. Packed in original case in good condition, latches work, handles show wear. Shipping free continental US. Return accepted within 3 days of purchase to allow trial, with 10% handling fee, horn in same condition as sent, and shipping paid by buyer. There are other 444N Conns for sale on the internet, but I doubt you'll find one in this condition. Overseas buyers welcome, shipping costs of your preferred provider extra, customs to be paid by buyer.
