There is an Leblanc being sold in NZ at the moment...

They may be prepared to split the pair... I THINK the A is the full Boehm one, and they seem to be LL model.
That price is in NZ dollars, so the US$ price would be quite a bit less... (you can fine a currency converter online)

Hi Don,
Thanks for that. The listing has closed. The price is over the top and the horns look like they are from the 60s rather than the 80s as claimed. I will see if they get re-listed. Thanks again for the thought. Cheers

Hi there, the listing is open again, at current rate the price is around $2,000 in US$ which is a bit high for LL model compared to "that auction site" but not too high for the market here in NZ where there is seldom "a pair" for sale, and buying a 2nd hand A clarinet involves waiting for one to be advertised (only 4mil population so small market).
The case does look a bit older than the 80s cases, you're right.

Hi Don,
Thaks for the thought, I am really after a Symphony VII which was made by Leblanc in the 90s. They were Honduran rosewood and had a great sound. I have a Bb and am current adjusting some of the tuning. They were generally considered to be the same design as the first Opus model, with minor changes
