The high school student was one of my private students. I suggested he ask to play and I give him a public hearty congratulations!!! for having the chutzpah -- guts, nerve, in a good sense of the word -- to go to this event and play in this masterclass.
It was a positive learning and growing experience for all -- as it should be.
And a big thanks to Ken Shaw for his detailed report. Knowing the player/teachers and reading your report, I felt as if I was there hearing it all.
