There are plenty of other older threads in this forum about learning the style.

Reeds and mouthpiece are as always determined by preference. Some people use slightly softer reeds for Klezmer playing but then again some do not. If it works, then it is right, for you.

Your public library may have recordings you can listen to for tunes and ideas.

There are books listed here and elsewhere in this forum (especially ones with a CD, like "Compleat Klezmer" by Sapoznik) that you can use. There was one some time ago "Kidz Klez" that listed some materials that might be useful.

Listen, learn, get other people to play with.
