I'm afraid Balkanology and Orpheus Ascending have both been put out of print by Ryko. They're consolidating their catalog and many of their cd's are no longer available...not just Ivo...
Try eBay or Half.com. I'd sell you mine if I weren't so ADDICTED to them!

If this is any help, "Balkanology" is manufactured and marketed by:

Hey buedsma,
I found both the Orpheus Ascending and Balkanology today at a local mom-n-pop folk music store...
They have a website at: www.homesteadpickinparlor.com.
I don't know if they'll do international mail order, but you might want to try to give them a phone call!

Hi,
Amazon.co.uk accepts orders for "Balkanology". You could also try "The best of Ivo Papazov", there is some good clarinet playing on it. The CD features some of Ivo´s more traditional work (with "Trakia" orchestra etc.). The CD is available from http://www.bgbooks.net/folk3.html.
Hope this help.
