Hi all,
Just now I found some Eb Albert system clarinets on ebay,
made by and Indian (?) company called "The Orient Co".
Is there anyone on the list who knows these instruments?

STAY AWAY!!!!
Everything I've heard about these Indian-made horns suggests they're horrible.
Unfortunately, I have no immediate personal experience with them to back that up. Mostly because I just plain don't want to take the chance...
You can find a decent Albert horn for not too much more than these guys will want.

Allow me to clarify:
Although I haven't tried 'em, I'll be more specific about the nature of these horns' defects...
They supposedly work fine at first and then fall apart within a month. Also read the sellers' feedback. Every time I've done that with these Indian made horns, I find really odd, negative comments...
Definitely Caveat emptor...

I don't know much about clarinets, but the orient company has some weird Eb flutes. Does anyone know where I can get normal Eb flutes with bohem fingering? I am a student so I can't get a flute that is hugely expensive, but I play C flute and piccolo and would like to try Eb soprano flute, alto flute, and bass flute. If anyone has any information on where I can find Eb flutes, please email me erin@fictitious.org
