For our Christmas Concert we are going to play "The Little Drummer Boy", and I have to play the clarinet part, and the second chair and I both play a little of the trumpets part (they arn't really good) and we played through it Friday and sounded really good. Has this ever happend to any of you with a different song?

Oh your cruel Mark! If you checked his properties, you'd know he was just a choir boy (Joke). Anyway, yes this has happened to me on several occasions whilst in a very strange primary school orchestra. 'Kaleidoscope' do arrangements like this - the clarinet and trumpet parts are on the same page and can be alternate, as they are both in the 'key' of 'b-flat'. I wouldn't worry about it too much - just watch out for when the parts divide (You can so easily get confused).
Hang on - which board are we on? Oops.
DLE.
