What's the difference between a bulgar and a freylach?

I looked at "The Compleat Klezmer", by Henry Sapoznik, for this. He uses the terms interchangeably.
The Bulgar, or Freylekhs is a lively circle dance, played at a moderate to bright tempo. The rythmic peculiarity that gives the bulgar its "lift" is its 8/8 meter, composed of two groups of 3 and one group of 2: 123 123 12 (emphasis on the 1's).
If you want to learn more, this is the book to get!
