When I absolutely have to have two different neck straps for fast changes, I make sure they are different colours/types so that I don't inadvertently put a horn on the wrong strap.
As Drew noted, open hooks are good for making fast changes.
When I was playing with the Canadian Glenn Miller Orchestra, I had to make frequent switches between bari and alto. Wearing two straps, and also playing the bari on a stand sometimes made it workable.
