 About those high notes...

I'm still new to the bassoon world, and am gradually learning the standard things a bassoonist is supposed to know.

I'm currently preparing for a concert in September, and am getting comfortable with playing high A's for the first time. I even have one high B, too.

I wanted to know, what is the common range a bassoonist is expected to be able to play comfortably? Generally speaking, how high do bassoon parts go most of the time?
