Can anyone give me information on the methods presented by Ray Chapa on his "Clarinet Gymnastics"? Thanks.

Ray Chapa is a "hoot" in real life. He may not admit it, but he also used to do stand up comedy at some local clubs here in the Houston area. I've lost track of him and don't even know if he is still in this area.

Ray's video deals with embouchre, tonguing, and hand position, etc. I had Ray come out and do a clinic with my clarinet section years back (early 90's). I figured that was better than the students just watching the video. I did go ahead and buy it so they could watch it as a "refresher course" from time to time. I think it is good material for the middle school clarinet players, but may be not as worthwhile for older students, just my opinion.
