 makes of C-clarinets

In a recent post, someone noted in passing about Buffet bringing out a student model key of C clarinet. Anyone know anything about this? Does Buffet currently manufacture any C-clarinets? The last WW and BW catalogue I have shows only two C-clarinets, both Leblanc.

Thanks.

Buffet does manufacture a C, a Prestige RC in fact. It's listed in the Int'l Music Suppliers catalog. That's all I've seen. -Albert

The latest WW & BW has a Patricola they're selling, I think for about $1850.

There is a British manufacturer of a plastic, entry level clarinet...he claims the tone is a lot better than the basic description might indicate.
http://www.music-hot-house.demon.co.uk.lyonsc.html/ or search for Lyons C Clarinet.
