 Doctor's Products Case Odor Eliminator

Does anyone know how to purchase the Doctor's Products Case Odor Eliminator? It's a fantastic product--nothing else to compare! However, recently doctorsprod.com website was shut down for a while, and when it returned, many of the original products (including the Case Odor Eliminator) were gone.

Is it possible that someone bought the company and decided not to carry this product? I have used the Contact Me page at the website to ask about this, and received no reply.

Thanks,
Ben

I don't know the answer to your question, but I had a similar experience. In October 2019 I wanted some Dr Syntek cork grease. The web site was greatly changed and incomplete. A follow-up email got a quick reply "The website should be up next week. I helped them make products this week, including Doctor Syntek, so it should be on the website." I waited awhile, then followed-up using the Contact Us page and did not receive a reply. Today the web site looks complete, but with a much smaller product line and a much less personal touch.

I bought my cork grease elsewhere and don't like it anywhere near as well as the Doctor Syntek.

It's a Wix site. Without a lot of work they look kind of generic.

Dr. Henderson, are you out there? I would (and I bet others would) appreciate knowing whether the Case Odor Eliminator will be available again. Thanks, Ben

Here's the link to the post where "The Doctor" explains that he's selling the business:

Hi, Mark. Thanks so much for the link. I had suspected that this was the case, but your link confirms it. Now I can put this to rest in my mind.

Dr. Henderson, if you're out there: Thanks so much for your work on the high-quality products, as well as all the insight and advice that you have offered on this forum. Happy Retirement!

I'm hoping the new owners also continue to make the mouthpiece cleaner. :)

An old trick used by antique dealers to eliminate mustiness in old armoires or chests of drawers is freshly ground (ie. unused) coffee, placed in the interieur in an open dish. This may be as much a pleasant cover-up as true odor removal. Baking soda actually absorbes odors, often used in refrigerators. First you need to be sure there is no residual humidity in the lining; for that silica gel would work. Then I'd try baking soda (place it in a small recipient ,careful not to spill or you'll have to vacuum the case). Repeat with fresh coffee if any mustiness lingers. I'd give at least 24hs for each product to work in the closed case and I'd give the case a final airing, preferably outside in the shade, to finish up. I have not yet tried this but will soon as I have an unused case in need of attention.
