 Poulenc Sextet fingering
Author: Jack Aubert

The clarinet part for the Poulenc Sextet has a number of difficult little riffs, but I am having particular trouble with the one in the seventh bar of rehearsal 1. The last bar has six 16th notes; C#-C(natural)-B-A#-C#-A(natural). The difficulty is the last three notes: going from the A# to the C# and back to A natural. I think maybe the A# can be played forked (1+1) but I still have trouble getting to C# and back to A. Has anybody developed any good alternate fingerings for this riff?
