 Neck strap-fingerings

Many years ago I saw an article that with a neck strap there are certain "trick" fingerings that now could be used that could not be made without a strap.

Can't imagine what.
However resting the bell on the knee would free up the RH to perform some gymnastics not normally possible e.g. you could trill the throat A with RH etc.

I use the lower of the trill keys (the Bb one) as a throat G-A trill key, or as a throat A (just as a Mazzeo system would) when I want to scratch my nose whilst playing.
