 C clarinet Case

Does anyone have any suggestions of where I can get a replacement CASE for my 'C' clarinet ?? (the clari is an Amati brand but that shouldn't matter).
I've been searching the internet, calling music stores, etc. but no luck. My case that came with the clarinet only lasted a couple years. I now keep it in a regular Bflat case but it rolls & joggles around too much of course, since it's too small for any Bflat case.
(or does anyone have a C clarinet they don't use and can just sell me the case??)

When I needed a case for my C clarinet I went on "That auction site" and looked for a seller from China who was selling one of those cheap C clarinets. I then asked them to sell me just the case. The case that arrived was of reasonable quality and fit my clarinet well. If you want a case for your C clarinet this may be the only option other than making your own. Hope this helps!

Do you know anyone that can order an Amati C clarinet case for you? The catalogue number for the C clarinet case is 6287II:

Alternatively you can adapt a single Bb clarinet case by installing spacers of the correct size made from high density foam or polystyrene in the end of the slots to keep the joints from shifting around when being carried. If you can undo the fabric lining without having to cut it, then you can fit the spacers under it (and glue them in place) so they're hidden. If you've had to cut the fabric, then it can be stitched back together once the spacers have been fitted.

My C clarinet came in a Yamaha German system Bb case (YCL-457 case) where the bell remained on the lower joint and the barrel remained on the top joint which stopped the joints from shifting around too much in their allotted slots, but in turn this caused the tenon corks to compress and harden which isn't ideal. I prefer to have all joints separated, so I divided up the slots in the case so the bell and lower joint are separated (by fitting a spacer in under the lining fabric) and the top joint slot had a spacer at the top end. The barrel fits in the designated barrel slot as does the mouthpiece.

My Noblet C clarinet lives in a Yamaha case - the smaller compact sort that the 26 II model student clarinet was shipped in - it fits quite snug in there with no modification.

Had my C clarinet not come with a case I'd have probably used the older YCL-26II plastic case for it.

See the attachment which shows how it fits in the slightly modified YCL-457 case.
