 Koechlin 14 pieces
Author: DrH2O

The catalog description for this collection says that 8 are for Bb, 5 for A and 1 for C clarinet. Can anyone tell me which pieces are for which clarinet and if there's any reason they couldn't all be played on Bb? I am interested in getting the score, but only have a Bb clarinet.
Thanks,

Anne

Don't know which is which, but whether or not you can use them depends on what you plan to do.

If you plan to play them without accompaniment, there is no reason you could not play them all on Bb.

If you plan to use accompaniment, either that or the solo part would need to be transposed on some of them. On the other hand, learning to transpose is not a bad thing.
