So, after all of the trouble I had with reeds, I have decided to buy more reeds since I didn't understand how much these reeds react with weather, humidity, etc. before I bought my first two packs of Regular Cut reeds.

I'm probably going to buy one box of Regular Cut 2.5 reeds and 2.75 reeds (the 2.5, at first playing, was about 20 cents flat in its altissimo register, so I don't know if I should just buy both 2.75) and one FOF pack.

*I'm wondering on whether or not I am even using the right strengths of reeds with my primary mouthpiece (5RV Lyre; the altissimo was flat).

*Also, if I am using the 2.5/2.75 strength of reeds on the Regular Cut, which strength should I buy on the FOF?

My current equipment:
Ridenour Lyrique 576BC, Rico Reserve 4, Ridenour Hand Finished Mouthpiece, Luyben Ligature
