 new support system?

Hi there..

Just wondering what you all think about the new "PAN Adjustable Clarinet and Oboe Supports" at http://www.panclarinet.com.au

You can buy: PAN Support with neck strap
PAN Support with shoulder harness

Have any of you bought their products and these straps/ harnesses?

I'm very interested in a new device to relieve tension off my right thumb as I feel it isn't quite what it used to be..

Please suggest any other items that your recommend to serve this sort of purpose?

Thank you

It isn't new, it's been around for over 10 years if I recall. Haven't tried it myself, looks too strange to bother with.

The Quadlibet (FHRED) telescopic supports are ok if you're sitting down, and have a fixed thumbrest with a sling ring on it (like Marigaux oboes have).
