 Eb Contra-alto Mpc.

Got one from Walter Grabner yesterday and tried it on my Selmer Model 40. I can tell you that it gave a fat, round, big sound with unequaled control as compared to what I've used in the past (i.e C* and Fobes-although they were each good also). If you play Contra-alto, you might want to try one for yourself.

Hi LCL, I did not know Walter makes an Eb contrabass clarinet mouthpiece for the Selmers, is there any info on his website?

No, there was not about a couple a months ago when I first enquired about one. But I contacted him, and he agreed to make one for me. It took a little time for him to get the blank. But brother was it worth it! It came out EXTREMELY well, to paraphrase my communications with him. When combined with the resonators put on by John Butler, I believe my contra has an extremely rich sound, despite the owner/player.
