 B40 "profile" style beak

I go back and forth between a Morgan RM15 and a B40. Both are excellent mouthpieces. The Morgan is velvety and dark and very easy to play. The B40 is ineteresting. It has the same thick dark bottom as the Morgan but also has a real nice ring higher in the overtones. Its a real complex sound.

I can get tired while playing the B40 but never on the Morgan. Do the B40 profile mouthpieces sound different from the regular B40? Basically my question is would the profile version of the B40 be kinder to my chops like the Morgan but still retain that beautiful B40 tone?
