Hi Marci - Did you ever recieve the old Martin Ligature [if I have the right Marci!]? Re: the Grofe, in our Comm. Band we play a "Salute to F G" which has the On the Trail triplets and other pieces, some as nearly a duet between BC and oboe. A story I have heard [truth?] is that Toscanini was trying out BC players and didnt like any of them, until a fellow figured out that Tos was hard of hearing in the low tones, and he played it "full-bore" , was complimented and got the job!!! Best wishes, Don
