I'm not well versed in recordings of the Copland. Benny's is probably the best for style, but his intervals stink. Druckers i didn't care for. Too stiff sounding.
Once i heard a recording of a someone doing it but i didn't catch the name. He put even more swing in than Benny did. I actually prefered it over Benny's precording.
I very much wish i could have caught the name of the person, but i got pulled over for speeding and had to turn the radio off before the piece was over... :-(
