I entered this topic a while ago, but got no responses. I'm hoping to generate some this time.

I have an A clarinet that I purchased from a dealer about 3 years ago. Its a YCL-65, I know (obviously)that it is made by Yamaha, but I was told that it was made before Yamaha came to the US (or something along those lines). It has silver and the serial number is 000085. The serial number is what really sparked my interest. IT seems like an awfully low number. So I'm wondering if this is some sort of special series clarinet or if it is just, more or less, garbage. Any information or help on where to get info. would be greatly appreciated!
