 RE: Buffet Evette Clarinet

Hi Luis - I'm surprised that no one has tried to answer your question, so I'll try, but my knowledge of the Buffet cl's is quite limited. I believe that the Evette is [was] the student-intermediate cl of the line and were made in plastic [more recently] and in wood earlier. I have a plastic with serial no. 180,xxx [maybe 1970's] which is reasonably good for its present value of about $150. I believe this same rank [but improved] cl is named Buffet B- 12 now, and is possibly the best "student" model presently sold in US. There is a web-site for Boosey & Hawkes -Buffet which may give you more info. Others, please help.
