I just received a clarinet that I want to recondition. I am curious about it's origin and worth along with it's level consideration (ie. intermediate vs. professional).
Valerie-
I did an E-Bay search for "Evette clarinet", completed items. I found actual selling prices ranging from $36 to $335. Most were in the $125 to $200 range.
I would guess that a good used intermediate clarinet like yours, would sell for around $250 in a music store. This isn't so bad, since it would be guaranteed, and you might have to spend $100 to fix up one of the E-Bay instruments.
Yours is well worth fixing up, either as a primary instrument or as a spare for marching/outdoor use.
